由CAS组织，CAS/SOA/CIA共同认可的VEE将在2007年8月举行最后一次考试，随后终止。
目前考生获得VEE学分的方式共有四种：
1.College Course(s)；
2.Standardized Examination；
3.Other Educational Experiences；
4.Transitional VEE Exams
第4种方式即目前CAS组织的VEE考试。

The Casualty Actuarial Society will offer the transitional VEE exams on Applied Statistical Methods, Corporate Finance, and Economics one time in 2007. The transitional VEE exam administration will be held in August 2007 and will be the last offering of the transitional exams. 

In 2004, the CAS announced that it would offer transitional VEE exams in 2005 and 2006 to ensure that sufficient educational experiences had been developed outside the university structure to meet the VEE requirements. The
